Using this website

This website is run by NurseCare Connect (“we”, “us”). By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. How we handle your personal information is covered by our Privacy Policy.

Information, not advice

The information on this website, including about the NDIS, funding and our services, is general in nature. It is not medical, clinical, legal or financial advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account. We work to keep it accurate and current, but NDIS rules and pricing change, so please check with us, your plan manager or the NDIA before relying on it.

In an emergency, call 000. Do not use our website forms to report an emergency.

Our care services

Sending us an enquiry or referral through this website does not create an agreement for us to provide supports. Before we start, we agree the details with you in a written service agreement, as NDIS and aged care rules require. That service agreement, not these terms, governs the supports we provide.

Shop orders

  • Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless we say otherwise.
  • An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock or a price is clearly wrong. If we do, we will refund anything you have paid.
  • Delivery is free in the Mackay area. Everywhere else in Australia is a flat postage charge of $12.95, shown in your cart once you enter your postcode. Delivery times are estimates.
  • Products marked as NDIS-claimable may be claimable depending on your plan. It is your responsibility to check that a product is covered before you buy.
  • On an NDIS order, you declare that each item marked GST-free is a reasonable and necessary support under the participant’s NDIS plan. We supply those items GST-free on the strength of that declaration. If an item turns out not to qualify, GST applies to it.
  • NDIS orders are invoiced to the plan manager, or claimed from the NDIA for agency-managed participants, and dispatched once the purchase is approved. Any item that is not approved is not sent, and is not charged for.
  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
  • For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on opened continence, hygiene or personal care products. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • use this website for anything unlawful, or to send false or misleading information
  • submit someone else’s personal information without their consent
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems or other people’s information
  • upload files that contain viruses or other harmful code

Copyright and trade marks

The content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view, download and print it for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use needs our written permission.

We link to other websites, such as the NDIS, for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, we provide this website “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors or viruses. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on its general information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of Queensland.

Changes and contact
